Lego Club
Lego Club will meet on Wednesday, May 4 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. All children in grades 2nd – 8th grade are welcome to attend. Call or stop in today to register.

On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!
The Alton Public Library will be having a Summer Reading Program for children in
Preschool – 8th grade. You may register by giving us a call, stopping by the library, or signing up on our website www.alton.lib.ia.us

Children’s Book Week
“For 97 years, Children’s Book Week has been an annual celebration of books for young people and finding joy in reading. Established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, and homes-wherever young readers and books connect.” Be sure to stop by the library this week and help us celebrate Children’s Book Week (May 2 – 7).

Library Will Be Closed
Due to staffing conflicts during the Tulip Festival, the Alton Public Library will be closed on Saturday, May 21. All items due will be renewed until Monday, May 23.
